Boyce Recreation Area
This is THE MOST FALL you will get in Louisiana Central. Large, beautiful American Sycamores shed their bark and leaves each year, covering the sprawling grounds. What this area lacks in variety, it makes up for in pastoral beauty.
Located on an oxbow of the Red River, timing is everything to get that perfect sunset angle over the water. Down the street stands the chimney ruins of the old Wettermark High School. Tangled vines cross the aged brick and mortar for a rich, textured background. There is also a playground and restroom on site.
